About The Position

Closets by Design is hiring a Sales Design Consultant to help residential customers organize their homes by designing and selling custom organizing solutions. The role includes pre-set appointments with new and repeat clients, with leads and marketing materials provided. Consultants build rapport with customers, understand their needs, assess opportunities in the home, and explain the company's products and services. No prior sales or design experience is necessary; the company provides 13 weeks of paid sales training and ongoing mentorship. This is a hybrid remote position with a flexible schedule and opportunities to advance to Senior Sales Designer. Training classes are held in Shirley, Massachusetts. Compensation is $50,000–$70,000 per year. The franchise is independently owned and operated.

Requirements

No degree, certification, or sales experience is required.
Be coachable and have a growth mindset.
Be willing to complete 13 weeks of paid sales training.
Have reliable access to a motor vehicle, a valid driver's license, and auto insurance.
Be able to attend training classes in Shirley, Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

Begin the sales route by attending provided customer appointments.
Build rapport with customers and understand their organizational needs.
Walk through customers’ homes to assess opportunities.
Educate customers about products and services.
Follow the sales training and use communication skills to help residential customers with their home organizational needs.
