Sales Department Spring Semester Intern
About The Position
WPHL-TV is seeking a Spring semester intern to join its Sales department. The intern will support account executives, sales management, and the research director in promoting the station and its initiatives to the advertising community. The role offers students interested in advertising and marketing the opportunity to learn about selling television, digital, and social advertising and developing and executing marketing campaigns in real-world settings. The intern will learn to develop marketing presentations, interpret ratings, research market competitors, build knowledge of social networking and branding, and help produce sales pitches. The role may also include accompanying sales management and account executives on client sales calls.
Requirements
- Must be a registered student actively enrolled in a course of study.
- Reliable transportation is required.
Responsibilities

- Read and interpret ratings.
