About The Position

The Sales Coordinator supports the Sales Team at Hotel Indigo Cleveland Gateway, helping ensure the team has the tools, supplies, and resources needed to deliver excellent service. The role also supports positive guest interactions by helping guests anticipate their visit and providing accurate information about the property and special events. It offers an opportunity to grow a hospitality career at a property with 143 guest rooms and suites, more than 2,400 square feet of meeting space, and two outlets.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong desire to make an impact on other people.
• Outgoing and engaging personality.
• Strong computer skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

• Previous hotel or resort experience.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls, qualify inquiries, and set up calls with the Sales and Catering Sales Manager.
• Send packages and answer general questions.
• Create monthly recaps of leads and updates.
• Assist in creating contracts and estimates and coordinating site tours.
• Create Sales and Catering kits and restock the supply area as appropriate.
• Control office supplies and order supplies when necessary.
• Update the Sales System with actuals after events are completed.
• Send thank-you cards and emails.
