JANA’s Sales Coordinator is an enthusiastic, organized, and motivated member of JANA’s Sales Team. Working primarily behind the scenes, the Sales Coordinator supports the JANA Sales Team to execute on our sales strategy and ultimately expedite the sales process. Under the direction of JANA’s Chief Strategy Officer, the Sales Coordinator will create dynamic reports to view sales analytics including forecasting and sales performance metrics and sales activity tracking. The Sales Coordinator will possess an energetic personality, is comfortable wearing many hats, and is unafraid of new challenges. This role requires working effectively in a fast-paced, out-of-the-box-thinking environment, demonstrating a high level of initiative and independent performance. JANA’s Sales Coordinator is a self starter, with strong organization and prioritization skills, and is a highly effective communicator. The Sales Coordinator must maintain a deep understanding of our sales pipeline, client history, sales forecast, and sales targets to support the execution of our goals. An expert at all sales process-specific tasks, the Sales Coordinator provides mentorship to new sales team members on upholding our process. A team player, JANA’s Sales Coordinator analyzes large amounts of data and delivers the highest quality outputs for internal reports, proposals, RFPs, and other client-facing material. Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree, preferably in Business, Administration, or Marketing.
  • 5+ years of Sales administration experience, including expert knowledge of Salesforce. Prior experience maintaining the Salesforce database, employee set up/deactivation in Salesforce and creating dashboards and reports within Salesforce.
  • Prior experience working with Account Managers on the status of opportunities, updating the salesforce database based on new data, aligning renewal opportunities.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast paced and deadline-driven environment, managing conflicting priorities.
  • Meticulous and self-motivated, works independently under pressure to drive execution of JANA’s Sales processes.

Responsibilities

  • Under the direction of JANA’s Chief Strategy Officer, compiles, tracks, and summarizes monthly, quarterly, and annual sales data and key metrics, identifying sales patterns and comparing actual sales data to projections and expectations.
  • Maintains and develops JANA’s CRM system (Salesforce), including managing database quality, creating custom dashboards, facilitating weekly Sales Meetings, and generating Sales reports.
  • Assesses and maintains current Sales processes and procedures, anticipates barriers to sales process success, and identifies opportunities for improvement.
  • Supports JANA’s Account Managers by drafting standard proposals for opportunities based on completed Proposal Request forms.
  • In alignment with JANA’s RFP Process, coordinates internal resources and timelines for JANA’s responses to RFPs and maintains JANA’s RFP system (RFPIO).
  • Executes technical aspects of sales analytics and reporting, communicating with JANA’s Chief Strategy Officer and JANA’s CEO on an ongoing basis to ensure sales goals are met.
  • Supports Sales Team by training, managing action items, maintaining document databases, and coordinating meetings.
  • Executes consistent and precise follow-up by ensuring issues are resolved and projects are completed in a timely manner.
  • Maintains the absolute highest levels of confidentiality and integrity.
