About The Position

The Sales Consultant is responsible for completing sales training and learning the skills needed to become a Sales Associate or Consultant. A minimum of three months of training is required. The role assists with prospective and current homebuyer interactions, sales team coverage, local market learning, and sales office administration.

Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Appropriate license or certifications as required by the state.
• Valid driver's license; driving is an essential function of the position.
• Strong organizational skills and a desire to learn.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• College coursework preferred.
• Knowledge of a sales organization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting interviews of prospects for current or future home sales, including model presentations.
• Assist new or prospective homebuyers as needed.
• Provide backup to other members of the sales team as needed.
• Learn about local markets, competition, real estate laws and rules, public opinion, local and national trends, and governmental regulations related to home buying.
• Assist with sales office administrative responsibilities as needed.
