About The Position

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is hiring a Sales Consultant at River Oaks Hyundai. Sales Consultants represent the dealership and help provide a positive customer experience by assisting customers with vehicle selection, explaining vehicle features and options, and delivering vehicles. This is an opportunity to join a large automotive dealership group with growth potential and possible career paths to Finance Manager, Sales Manager, or General Sales Manager.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of sales or customer service experience.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Excellent customer service, organizational, and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and enthusiastic presence in a team environment.
• Prior proven customer-service or retail sales experience.
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen in accordance with local law and regulations.
• At least 18 years of age to comply with the company driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist dealership customers, answer questions, and help them select a vehicle that meets their needs.
• Follow up with customers in a timely manner and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Explain vehicle performance, applications, benefits, and optional equipment; determine customer needs by asking questions and listening.
• Deliver vehicles and explain operating features, warranties, and paperwork to customers.
• Stay informed about incoming inventory, vehicle features, accessories, and their customer benefits.
• Introduce customers to service department personnel and highlight available repair and maintenance services.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
