About The Position

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is hiring a Sales Consultant at Urbana Auto Park @ KIA of Urbana. The Sales Consultant is a customer-facing role in a fast-paced dealership environment, helping customers choose vehicles that meet their needs and supporting a positive dealership experience. The position offers potential earnings of $50,000–$100,000 per year, including incentive-based pay, and opportunities for career growth into Finance Manager, Sales Manager, or General Sales Manager roles.

Requirements

At least 2 years of sales or customer service experience.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Excellent customer service, organizational, and negotiation skills.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and enthusiastic in a team environment.
Prior proven customer-service or retail sales experience.
Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen in accordance with local requirements.
Must be at least 18 years old to comply with the company driving policy.

Responsibilities

Assist dealership customers, answer questions, and help them select vehicles suited to their needs.
Follow up with customers in a timely manner and maintain strong customer relationships.
Explain vehicle performance, applications, benefits, and optional equipment; identify customer needs by asking questions and listening.
Deliver vehicles and explain operating features, warranties, and paperwork to customers.
Stay informed about incoming inventory, vehicle features, accessories, and their benefits to customers.
Introduce customers to service department personnel and highlight the quality and efficiency of available repairs and maintenance.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
