About The Position

Jaguar Land Rover North Dade is hiring motivated Sales Consultants for its New and Used Vehicle Sales teams. Sales Consultants build rapport with customers using interpersonal and oral communication skills, identify customer needs and desires, explain vehicle characteristics, capabilities, and features, and convert walk-in inquiries into buyers by closing sales.

Requirements

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license; the position operates motor vehicles.
• Flexibility to work various hours and weekends.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proper email and telephone etiquette.
• Comfort with public communication.
• Intermediate competency using Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and determine what they want or need.
• Describe vehicle features and explain their use, operation, and care.
• Qualify buyers by understanding their requirements and interests, matching them to vehicle models, and building rapport.
• Compute sales prices and total purchases.
• Maintain current product knowledge to answer customer inquiries.
• Develop buyers by maintaining rapport with previous customers, greeting walk-in customers, meeting prospects at community activities, responding to inquiries, and recommending sales campaigns and promotions.
• Place special orders.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, payment and exchange policies, and security practices.
• Update and maintain product knowledge by participating in voluntary or mandatory training.
