About The Position

Galpin Motors is hiring Automotive Sales Consultants to create outstanding customer experiences and guide customers through vehicle purchases or leases. Consultants use their automotive experience to support customers throughout the process, from initial contact through contract and paperwork completion and delivery. The role covers product knowledge, lease and finance structures, and customer needs, and offers the opportunity to present Galpin’s vehicle inventory and services, including customization through Galpin Auto Sports. Sales may be conducted online, in-store, or through a combination of both. The position is based at Jaguar Land Rover in Van Nuys, California, and is full-time. Compensation is listed as $18.42 plus commission per month.

Responsibilities

Create a welcoming and engaging car-buying experience for Galpin customers.
Assess customer needs and guide them toward a vehicle purchase or lease using an online, in-store, or combined approach.
Build expertise in and represent Galpin products and services.
Guide customers through the buying process, from initial contact through contract and paperwork and vehicle delivery.
Review vehicle operating features, warranty information, and completed paperwork with customers.
Develop customer relationships and maintain prospecting efforts to encourage repeat business.
