About The Position

Holman is seeking a Parts Counter Sales Rep to join Jaguar Land Rover Raleigh. The role supports customers, mechanics, and vendors by identifying the correct automotive parts, checking availability, fulfilling orders, and providing knowledgeable customer service. It also assists with inventory, receiving, stocking, shipping, recordkeeping, and maintaining an orderly, professional parts counter and stockroom.

Requirements

Previous parts advisor experience.
Basic understanding of automotive components and systems.
Be a team player focused on providing exemplary customer service.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Working knowledge of computers.
Possess a valid in-state driver's license.
Pass a motor vehicle report and possess an acceptable safe driving record.
Be available for the possibility of working one Saturday per month.

Responsibilities

Assess which part is needed and assist customers or mechanics in identifying the correct part for the job.
Use catalogs or computer listings to find replacement-part stock numbers and determine availability.
Order parts when needed, fill orders from stock, and mark, log, and store parts according to the established system.
Receive and fill telephone orders and, when applicable, prepare customer bills or add parts to service orders.
Provide exceptional service to customers and vendors.
Process customer orders and recommend related repair items.
Develop product knowledge and understanding of vehicle components to assist customers effectively.
Assist with daily inventory, receiving, stocking, and shipping.
Help maintain perpetual inventories.
Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the service counter, work area, and stockroom.
Maintain records of time, expenses, and materials.
