About The Position
Group 1 Automotive is hiring a Parts Counter Person for Land Rover Rockland. The role supports the parts department by assisting customers, maintaining and organizing parts inventory, accurately pricing parts and accessories, and keeping the computer system up to date. The position is based at a state-of-the-art facility and offers compensation of $15–$25 per hour, depending on a number of factors.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Professional appearance and work ethic.
- Ability to work well in a process-driven environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver license in the state where the employee will work and a good driving record.
Nice To Haves
- Automotive parts department or technician experience is preferred.
- CDK experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Meet and assist customers courteously and professionally, providing the information they need.
- Stock incoming inventory in the correct locations.
- Keep the parts department clean and organized.
- Accurately price parts and accessories using the proper pricing source and keep the computer system up to date.
- Inform customers about current specials.
- Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the company’s values in interactions with customers, co-workers, and vendors.
