Sales Commission Stylist, Full Time - Century City
About The Position
A Bloomingdale’s Stylist guides and inspires customers to make style a source of creative energy. The role combines gracious service, fashion interest, styling talent, and product knowledge to establish and cultivate long-term client relationships in store and online. Stylists create a welcoming, engaging, and inquisitive experience through conversation and personal connection, schedule appointments, determine customer needs, explain Loyalty program benefits, and support the shopping experience from start to finish. They also deliver operational excellence by using the fulfillment system and meeting merchandise-to-sell standards while maintaining the sales floor and fitting rooms.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers.
- Resourcefulness and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to read and interpret instructional documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods; reach, crouch, kneel, and stoop; and use color vision.
- Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and ability to process register transactions.
- Ability to frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Create an appointment-based client experience.
- Deliver an easy, seamless, and enjoyable in-store and online experience while building and cultivating customer relationships.
- Drive sales with in-store and online clients by embracing and being proficient with technology.
- Participate in the merchandising and operational requirements of the role.
- Schedule appointments, determine customer needs, and share the benefits of Loyalty programs.
- Support the customer’s shopping experience from start to finish.
- Use the fulfillment system and maintain merchandise-to-sell standards, the sales floor, and fitting rooms.
