Sales Commission Stylist, Full Time - South Coast Plaza
About The Position
A Bloomingdale’s Stylist guides and inspires customers to make style a source of creative energy. With gracious service, an interest in fashion, styling talent, and product knowledge, the Stylist establishes and cultivates long-term client relationships in store and online. Stylists create welcoming, engaging, and inquisitive conversations that build human connections and deliver the Bloomingdale’s customer experience. The role includes scheduling appointments, determining customer needs, sharing the benefits of Loyalty programs, and supporting the shopping experience from start to finish. Stylists also deliver operational excellence through use of the fulfillment system, merchandise-to-sell standards, and upkeep of the sales floor and fitting rooms.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers.
- Resourcefulness and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.
- Interest in fashion, styling talent, and product knowledge proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Create an appointment-based client experience.
- Deliver an easy, seamless, and fun in-store and online experience while building and cultivating customer relationships.
- Drive sales with in-store and online clients by embracing and being proficient with technology.
- Participate in the merchandising and operational requirements of the role.
- Schedule appointments, determine customer needs, and share the benefits of Loyalty programs.
- Support the customer’s shopping experience from start to finish.
- Use the fulfillment system and follow merchandise-to-sell standards.
- Maintain the sales floor and fitting rooms.
