Nuage Designs, a leader in couture linens and luxury event rentals for over two decades, is seeking an exceptional Sales & Client Experience Coordinator for its Midwest & West Sales team. This role is crucial for managing account intake, processing orders, handling client inquiries, and maintaining the Chicago showroom.   • Bachelor’s Degree from four year college or university.
  • Experience in the Event or Hospitality Industry in Sales, Coordination, or Administration/Admin Assistant.
  • Experience in a retail, showroom, or merchandising environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage new account intake by inputting Trade Account applications into Intellievent (IE) and notifying the associated Account Executive.
  • Answer general inquiries received through the website contact form, general inquiry inbox, and phone calls, directing clients to the appropriate contact.
  • Review Design Trunk orders, enter new client information into Intellievent, and update existing client profiles.
  • Input and revise non-revenue generating orders (samples, swatches, photoshoots, hospitality/donations) on behalf of the Sales Team.
  • Cross-check product availability for future event dates.
  • Submit Inventory Addition Requests (IARs) to Production when necessary.
  • Notify the Account Executive upon order completion with pertinent information.
  • Run daily Balance Reports and process Balances Due, sending receipts and proof of paid invoices to clients.
  • Run a weekly Tentative Order Aging Report and follow up on dormant orders.
  • Collaborate with Product Development & Marketing teams to manage showroom merchandising and implement updates.
  • Maintain the overall appearance, organization, and cleanliness of the showroom.
  • Coordinate showroom readiness for client appointments, including restocking supplies.
  • Host showroom appointments for retail clients, providing guidance and ensuring a professional presentation of rental inventory.
