About The Position

The Sales & Catering Coordinator will support the day-to-day activities of the Sales & Catering Department and provide immediate support to their designated Sales Managers and/or Directors. Some immediately responsibilities would include assistance with BEOs, group resumes, contract merging, being an extra touch point for group and catering needs, Opera audits and various other tasks.

Requirements

• College degree or equivalent experience
• Sales & Catering and Hotel experience a plus
• Ability to read, write and speak English, using excellent grammar and communication skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with guests and staff in a friendly and positive manner
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to multitask and to be proactive
• Attention to detail is a must
• Excellent organizational skills
• Possess a gracious, friendly, and fun demeanor
• Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and have a high-level attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork
• Results oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to work a flexible schedule: weekends, holidays, AM, PM, overnight and overtime when needed
