About The Position

The Sales Associate assists customers throughout the retail store, with a primary focus on providing excellent customer service. Duties may include greeting customers, answering product-related questions, cashiering, assisting with product assembly, housekeeping, and other tasks assigned by the manager. Extensive knowledge and understanding of clothing and accessories are needed. The role requires open availability to work days, nights, or weekends. The position reports directly to the Store Manager and has no direct supervisory authority. The work takes place in a retail store environment with cold and warm conditions and an irregular work schedule. Physical requirements include frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds, long periods of standing, and frequent bending and twisting. Requirements

Excellent customer service skills.
Extensive knowledge and understanding of clothing and accessories.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Knowledge of and/or experience with FFL requirements for the sale of firearms strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and assist with customer service questions.
Price merchandise and make price changes as requested by store management.
Stock and face merchandise on shelves as requested by store management.
Assist with receiving freight and organize incoming products as directed by store management.
Assist with cycle counts.
Answer incoming telephone calls and handle them appropriately.
Process customer transactions using the KCX cash register system.
Handle cash accurately.
Handle customer returns.
Perform housekeeping duties.
Perform other duties as assigned.
