About The Position

The Sales Outfitter performs selling and customer service activities, including greeting and acknowledging customers promptly and warmly, handling merchandise carefully, and providing customers with information, assistance, and direction. The role supports a pleasant and productive shopping experience by demonstrating products, maintaining product knowledge, replenishing and restocking merchandise, maintaining pricing and signage, assisting with seasonal merchandise moves, and keeping the work area clean and supplied.

The associate helps customers make purchasing decisions by identifying and evaluating their needs and recommending products. The role also promotes programs such as CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up, follows company policies and procedures, and performs other assigned duties. Work is performed under general supervision using established procedures, with occasional independent judgment to complete assignments and make recommendations about work procedures, policies, and practices.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change for customers.
• Ability to communicate with customers and associates in a friendly and professional manner.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
• Ability to operate a computerized Point of Sale register system.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate products to customers.
• Replenish and restock merchandise as required and according to merchandising guidelines.
• Maintain product expertise through ongoing product knowledge training.
• Stay informed about advertised sales and maintain pricing and signage.
• Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, and well stocked with supplies.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Assist customers with buying decisions by identifying and evaluating their needs and making product recommendations.
• Promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
