About The Position

The Sales Outfitter performs selling and customer service activities, including greeting and acknowledging customers promptly and in a friendly manner, handling merchandise with care, and providing customers with information, assistance, and direction. The role supports a pleasant and productive shopping experience by demonstrating products, helping customers make purchasing decisions, and maintaining merchandise and the sales floor. The position operates under general supervision using established procedures, with occasional independent judgment to complete assignments and make recommendations about work procedures, policies, and practices.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change for customers.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with customers and associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
• Ability to operate a computerized Point of Sale register system.
• Ability to stand and/or walk throughout the shift and meet the listed physical requirements, including moving objects up to 20 pounds constantly and occasionally lifting or moving objects up to 100 pounds or more with team assistance as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, prompt customer service and help ensure a pleasant and productive shopping experience.
• Demonstrate products and assist customers with buying decisions by identifying and evaluating their needs and making product recommendations.
• Promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.
• Maintain product knowledge through ongoing training and stay informed about advertised sales.
• Replenish and restock merchandise according to merchandising guidelines, including assisting with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• Maintain pricing and signage.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, and stocked with supplies.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
