About The Position

The Sales Outfitter performs selling and customer service activities, including greeting and acknowledging customers promptly and warmly, handling merchandise with care, and providing customers with information, assistance, and direction. The role supports a welcoming and productive shopping experience by demonstrating products, maintaining product knowledge, replenishing and restocking merchandise, and helping customers make informed purchasing decisions. The associate also keeps the work area clean and follows company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with customers and associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
• Ability to operate a computerized Point of Sale register system.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, prompt customer service and support a pleasant, productive shopping experience.
• Demonstrate products to customers.
• Replenish and restock merchandise according to merchandising guidelines and as needed.
• Maintain product expertise through ongoing product knowledge training.
• Stay informed about advertised sales and maintain accurate pricing and signage.
• Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, and stocked with supplies.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Identify and evaluate customer needs, recommend products, and promote programs such as CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
