About The Position

As a Sales Associate at Southern FS, Inc., you will provide outstanding customer service and help ensure smooth daily store operations. Duties include cash handling, food preparation, stocking, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. You will support product presentation and profitability, assist with inventory and replenishment, follow company policies and applicable standards, and collaborate with team members.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience in cash handling, sales, or customer service is a plus.
• Ability to acquire and maintain a food service sanitation certification.
• Must be of legal age to sell alcohol and tobacco products.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to lift 21–50 lbs and occasionally work in varying weather conditions.
• Strong communication, decision-making, customer focus, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to every customer.
• Operate cash registers accurately and maintain records of cash and receipts.
• Ensure products are priced, promoted, and displayed correctly to maximize profitability.
• Maintain the appearance of the store, both inside and outside.
• Assist with receiving and stocking products, check inventory for expiration dates, and ensure timely replenishment.
• Follow company policies, including requirements for sales of regulated products and uniform standards.
• Attend employee meetings and collaborate with team members.
• Prepare fast food items according to Health Department and store standards when required.
