About The Position

The Sales Associate delivers outstanding customer service and supports the smooth daily operation of the store. The role includes cash handling, food preparation when required, stocking and replenishing products, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment. The associate also follows company policies and standards for regulated product sales and uniforms, and works collaboratively with the team.

Requirements

• Ability to acquire and maintain a food service sanitation certification.
• Must be of legal age to sell alcohol and tobacco products.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to lift 21–50 lbs and occasionally work in varying weather conditions.
• Strong communication, decision-making, customer focus, and collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in cash handling, sales, or customer service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to every customer.
• Operate cash registers accurately and maintain records of cash and receipts.
• Ensure products are priced, promoted, and displayed correctly to maximize profitability.
• Maintain the appearance of the store inside and outside.
• Assist with receiving and stocking products, check inventory expiration dates, and ensure timely replenishment.
• Follow company policies, including those for regulated product sales and uniform standards.
• Attend employee meetings and collaborate with team members.
• Prepare fast food items according to Health Department and store standards when required.
