About The Position

The Full-Time Sales Associate assists the store management team with daily store operations, including customer service, sales, merchandising, and other assigned responsibilities. Work is expected to be performed professionally, courteously, reliably, and with a results-oriented approach. The standard work week is 35 to 40 hours. The role requires open availability and flexibility to meet customer and business needs, and willingness to work in multiple stores in the assigned district.

Requirements

Previous retail or customer-service experience is preferred but not required.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Excellent command of English to communicate effectively with management, customers, and coworkers.
Demonstrated leadership and ability to work with minimal supervision and take charge of the store when necessary.
Open availability and flexibility to meet customer demand and business needs.
Basic fashion and style trend knowledge and interest in working with customers in a retail setting.
Track record of teamwork, ability to handle responsibility, and understanding of the street-lifestyle customer.
Willingness to work in multiple stores in the assigned district.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work extended hours during critical project phases and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Build customer relationships and provide professional, courteous, attentive, honest, and responsive service.
Identify customer needs and provide knowledgeable product assistance.
Use basic fashion and trend knowledge to recommend merchandise while maintaining store standards.
Assist with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward the job and company.
Comply with and enforce company policies.
Participate in service training and product programs.
Assist the Store Manager in monitoring and identifying loss or store inconsistencies to help meet shrink goals.
Monitor and control operational compliance, safety, and business standards.
Support training employees in suggested selling and merchandising techniques.
Help minimize inventory shrinkage by preventing shoplifting and internal theft and following loss-prevention and security procedures.
Follow point-of-sale procedures, balance money taken in during an assignment, and work with management to investigate discrepancies.
Keep management informed of important developments and potential problems.
Help maintain a neat and orderly sales environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
