About The Position

The Part-Time Sales Associate drives sales and customer relationships by providing excellent customer service and using effective selling techniques. The role performs daily store functions, including product merchandising and sales, customer relations, and store maintenance. Customer service, sales, and teamwork are the primary focuses of the position.

Requirements

Previous work experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Excellent command of English to communicate effectively with management, customers, and other employees.
Basic knowledge of fashion and style trends and a desire to work with customers in a retail setting.
Problem-solving and analytical abilities, attention to detail, flexibility, communication skills, and interpersonal skills to provide customer service and support inventory control, merchandise transport, and store maintenance.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work extended hours during critical project phases and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexibility.
Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Use basic fashion and trend knowledge to identify suitable merchandise for customers, meet their needs, and build relationships while upholding DTLR standards.
Assist with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
Provide each customer with a positive, energetic, and outgoing impression and maintain a positive, enthusiastic attitude toward the job and company.
Comply with company policies.
Participate in service training and product programs.
Follow visual standards, complete daily restocking, and maintain adequate size runs according to visual directions.
Assist in preventing employee and customer theft.
Help maintain a neat and orderly sales environment.
Help keep the store organized as directed by store management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
