About The Position

The Sales Associate assists customers throughout the retail store, with the primary focus on providing excellent customer service. Duties may include greeting customers, answering product-related questions, cashiering, product assembly, housekeeping, and other tasks assigned by the manager. Knowledge of and interest in automotive parts, repairs, and farm is preferred. The role has an irregular work schedule and is performed in a retail store environment that may include cold and warm conditions.

Requirements

Excellent customer service skills.
Frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Frequent bending and twisting.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of and interest in automotive parts, repairs, and farm.
High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and assist with customer service questions.
Price merchandise and make price changes as requested by store management.
Stock and face merchandise on shelves as requested by store management.
Assist with receiving freight and organize incoming products as directed by store management.
Assist with cycle counts.
Answer incoming telephone calls and handle them appropriately.
Process customer transactions using the KCX cash register system.
Handle cash accurately.
Handle customer returns.
Perform housekeeping duties.
Perform other duties as assigned.
