About The Position

The Cashier interacts with customers as they enter and leave the retail store. The primary function of the role is to provide excellent customer service. Hours vary and include days, evenings, and rotating weekend and holiday coverage. Applicants must be available to work evenings and/or weekends. The role is seasonal and pays $16.00 per hour, paid weekly on Fridays.

The position is performed in a retail store environment with cold and warm conditions and an irregular work schedule. Physical requirements include frequent lifting of up to 25 pounds, long periods of standing, and frequent bending and twisting. Reasonable accommodations may be considered for individuals with disabilities to enable them to perform job functions.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering the retail store and assist with customer service questions.
• Answer incoming telephone calls and handle them appropriately.
• Process customer transactions using the KCX cash register system.
• Handle cash accurately.
• Price store merchandise as requested by store management.
• Stock merchandise on shelves as requested by store management.
• Handle customer returns.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
