About The Position

The Seasonal Sales Associate assists customers throughout the retail store, with a primary focus on providing excellent customer service. Duties may include greeting customers, answering product questions, cashiering, assembling products, maintaining general housekeeping, and completing other tasks assigned by the manager. The role requires extensive knowledge and understanding of clothing and accessories, and the ability to work days, nights, and every other weekend. Pay is $16.00 per hour, paid weekly on Fridays. The Sales Associate reports directly to the Store Manager and has no direct supervisory authority. The work takes place in a retail store, in cold and warm conditions, on an irregular schedule. Requirements

Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work days, nights, and every other weekend.
Extensive knowledge and understanding of clothing and accessories.
Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Ability to frequently bend and twist.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Knowledge of and/or experience with FFL requirements for the sale of firearms is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and assist with customer service questions.
Price merchandise and make price changes as requested by store management.
Stock and face merchandise on shelves as requested by store management.
Assist with receiving freight and organize incoming products as directed by store management.
Assist with cycle counts.
Answer incoming telephone calls and handle them appropriately.
Process customer transactions using the KCX cash register system.
Handle cash accurately.
Handle customer returns.
Perform housekeeping duties.
Complete other duties as assigned.
