About The Position
The Seasonal Sales Associate works at Hickory Farms retail locations and is employed by Noor Staffing Group, representing Hickory Farms. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and creating a positive shopping experience through proactive customer engagement, product knowledge, and achievement of personal and team sales goals. Associates work independently while maintaining professionalism, enthusiasm, and high service standards. The position is seasonal and takes place in a high-traffic retail mall environment, where activity may increase during evenings, weekends, and holidays. Local travel to other store locations may be required when additional Sales Associates are needed. Seasonal team members receive a 30% discount on Hickory Farms products; the role is not eligible for medical or other company-sponsored benefits unless required by law.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Passion for providing excellent customer service.
- Integrity and honesty in all interactions.
- Positive attitude and proactive approach to customer concerns.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of ownership, dependability, and initiative.
- Ability to stand for at least two consecutive hours and perform continuous movement, walking, reaching, grasping, lifting, and repetitive motions.
- Ability to exert up to 42 pounds of force occasionally, 25–35 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.

Responsibilities
- Greet and approach customers, offering personalized assistance and recommendations.
- Actively engage customers and showcase products to drive sales.
- Achieve personal sales goals while supporting team objectives.
- Maintain product knowledge to answer customer questions and encourage purchases.
- Restock and organize merchandise as directed to maintain an attractive store environment.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and courteously.
- Provide outstanding service to promote customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Follow cash-handling and loss-prevention policies and procedures.
- Process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately using the POS system.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain safety awareness.
- Immediately report injuries, hazards, and incidents to the Seasonal Store Manager.
- Contribute to a positive work environment by maintaining energy and enthusiasm.
- Follow dress-code standards and wear the provided apron while on duty.
- Complete assigned training courses and materials.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the Seasonal Store Manager.
