About The Position
The Seasonal Sales Associate works at Hickory Farms retail locations and is employed by Noor Staffing Group, representing Hickory Farms. The role delivers customer service, drives sales, and supports a positive shopping experience through proactive customer engagement, product knowledge, and achievement of personal and team sales goals. Associates work independently while maintaining professionalism, enthusiasm, and a high standard of service. The position is seasonal and performed in a busy retail mall environment, with activity increasing during evenings, weekends, and holidays. Local travel to other store locations may be required when additional sales associates are needed. Seasonal team members receive a 30% discount on Hickory Farms products. The position is not eligible for medical or other company-sponsored benefits unless required by applicable law.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Passion for excellent customer service.
- Integrity and honesty in all interactions.
- Positive attitude and a proactive approach to customer concerns.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of ownership, dependability, and initiative.
- Ability to stand for at least two consecutive hours and perform tasks involving walking, reaching, grasping, lifting, and repetitive motions.
- Ability to exert up to 42 lbs. of force occasionally, 25–35 lbs. frequently, and up to 10 lbs. constantly to move objects.

Responsibilities
- Greet and approach customers, providing personalized assistance and recommendations.
- Engage customers and showcase products to drive sales; achieve personal sales goals while supporting team objectives.
- Maintain product knowledge to answer questions and encourage purchases.
- Restock and organize merchandise as directed to maintain an attractive store environment.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and courteously and provide service that supports customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Follow cash-handling and loss-prevention policies and accurately process sales, returns, and exchanges using the POS system.
- Follow safety protocols and immediately report injuries, hazards, and incidents to the Seasonal Store Manager.
- Maintain energy and enthusiasm and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Follow dress code standards and wear the provided apron at all times.
- Complete assigned training courses and materials.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Seasonal Store Manager.
