About The Position

The Sales Associate provides quality customer service and drives product sales. This role requires knowledge of each product area or department, adherence to the visual manual and company policies, and full promotion of sales and promotions. As an ambassador for the organization and brand, the Sales Associate helps create a distinctive customer experience and acquire and retain customers through outstanding service and merchandise promotion. The position reports to the Store Manager and has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

0–2 years of customer service experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter with initiative to take on important tasks without being asked.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and precisely.
Team player passionate about outstanding customer service and selling merchandise.

Responsibilities

Provide extraordinary customer service, assist customers as they enter the store, and help multiple customers during peak periods.
Promote and sell the organization's services and merchandise.
Set goals to improve selling skills and track overall sales.
Follow company policies, procedures, and standards in the operations, personnel, visual, and customer service manuals, as well as company memos.
Assist with daily store operations, including work lists, cleanup lists, weekly shipments, and store maintenance.
Present merchandise to promote and sell products, using guidance in the product knowledge manual.
Achieve or exceed sales targets and goals.
Communicate merchandise needs, pricing concerns, and operational problems to store management.
Attend store staff meetings and tech clinics.
Protect company assets and financial information by ensuring internal controls are accurate and effective and reporting potential fraud risks to management or appropriate officials.
