About The Position

The Sales Associate provides quality customer service and drives product sales. The role requires knowledge of each product area or department, promotion of merchandise and sales, and adherence to the visual manual and company policies and standards. As an ambassador of the organization and brand, the Sales Associate helps create a distinctive customer experience and acquire and retain long-time customers. The position supports daily store operations and focuses on outstanding customer service and merchandise promotion.

Requirements

0–2 years of customer service experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter with initiative to take on important tasks without being asked.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and precisely.
Team player with a passion for outstanding customer service and selling merchandise.

Responsibilities

Provide extraordinary customer service, including welcoming customers and assisting multiple customers during peak periods.
Promote and sell the organization’s services and merchandise.
Set goals to improve selling skills and track overall sales.
Follow company policies, procedures, and standards in the operations, personnel, visual, and customer service manuals, as well as company memos.
Assist with daily store operations, including work lists, cleanup lists, weekly shipments, and store maintenance.
Present merchandise to promote and sell goods, using guidance from the product knowledge manual.
Meet or exceed sales targets and goals.
Identify and communicate merchandise needs, pricing concerns, and operational problems to store management.
Attend all store staff meetings and tech clinics.
Protect company assets and financial information by maintaining accurate and effective internal controls and reporting potential fraud risks to management or appropriate officials.
