About The Position

A part-time Sales Associate drives selling efforts and customer relationships through strong customer service and selling techniques. The role includes daily store functions such as product merchandising and sales, customer relations, and store maintenance. Key priorities are customer service, sales, and teamwork. The associate is expected to follow company and visual standards, support store organization and inventory activities, and help create a positive customer experience.

Requirements

Previous retail or customer service work experience is preferred but not required.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Excellent command of English to communicate effectively with management, customers, and other employees.
Basic fashion and style trend knowledge and a desire to work with customers in a retail setting.
Problem-solving, analytical, detail-orientation, flexibility, communication, and interpersonal skills to provide customer service and support inventory control, merchandise transport, and store maintenance.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work extended hours during critical project phases and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexibility.
Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Use basic fashion and trend knowledge to identify and sell appropriate merchandise while meeting DTLR standards and building customer relationships.
Assist with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
Provide each customer with a positive, energetic, and outgoing impression and maintain an enthusiastic attitude toward the job and company.
Comply with all company policies.
Participate in service training and product programs.
Follow visual standards, complete daily restocking, and maintain adequate size runs according to visual directions.
Assist in preventing employee and customer theft.
Help maintain a neat and orderly sales environment.
Help keep the store organized as directed by store management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
