About The Position

Kiokii And is a North American retail platform offering Asian beauty, skincare, cosmetics, accessories, and lifestyle products. The Sales Associate will serve customers at the new Westfarms Shopping Center store in West Hartford, Connecticut, providing friendly, professional service and product knowledge while supporting sales, store operations, and inventory management. The position also involves maintaining store presentation and safety standards and assisting with store opening and setup.

Requirements

Previous retail, sales, or customer service experience is preferred.
Enthusiasm for the Asian beauty industry and commitment to learning about products and trends.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Team-oriented, friendly, and energetic approach.
Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability to changing customer and inventory needs.
Basic math proficiency for inventory counts and loss prevention support.
Ability to follow company policies and workplace safety standards and protocols.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
Ability to handle cash and transactions accurately.
Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 30 pounds for extended periods, and bend, stoop, and reach for products.
Comfort using ladders or step stools to access higher shelves or stock.
Comfort working in a retail setting with potentially moderate noise, bright lighting, or temperature fluctuations.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and provide a friendly, professional shopping experience.
Assess customer needs and recommend personalized product solutions using product knowledge.
Stay informed about sales and in-store promotions and communicate them to customers.
Process accurate transactions using the point-of-sale system and Kiokii Loyalty Reward Membership Program.
Build positive customer relationships to encourage repeat business and brand loyalty.
Unload, unpack, and inspect incoming inventory for accuracy and damage.
Organize products on shelves and in storage areas and follow inventory procedures to maintain stock levels.
Conduct stock counts and help resolve inventory discrepancies or overstock situations.
Ensure products are correctly labeled, priced, and presented according to store standards.
Support store opening and setup.
Keep the store clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.
