About The Position

Kiokii And is a North American retail platform offering Asian products, including cosmetics, skincare, beauty, accessories, and lifestyle products. The company is opening a new store at Westfarms Shopping Center in West Hartford, Connecticut, and is hiring a Sales Associate. The Sales Associate provides customer service and product guidance, supports sales and loyalty-program transactions, and performs inventory and store-maintenance duties. The role also supports store opening and setup and may include other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Previous retail, sales, or customer service experience is preferred.
Enthusiasm for the Asian beauty industry and willingness to learn, share product knowledge, and stay informed about products and trends.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
Team-oriented, friendly, and energetic approach.
Problem-solving ability and adaptability to changing customer and inventory needs.
Basic math proficiency for inventory counts and loss-prevention support.
Ability to follow company policies and workplace safety standards and protocols.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
Ability to handle cash and transactions accurately.
Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 30 pounds for extended periods, and to bend, stoop, and reach for products.
Comfort using ladders or step stools to access higher shelves or stock.
Willingness to work in a retail setting that may have moderate noise, bright lighting, or temperature fluctuations.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and provide a friendly, professional shopping experience.
Assess customer needs and inquiries, offer personalized recommendations, and use product knowledge to help customers choose products.
Stay informed about current sales and in-store promotions and communicate them to customers.
Process accurate transactions using the point-of-sale system and Kiokii Loyalty Reward Membership Program.
Build positive customer relationships to encourage repeat business and brand loyalty.
Unload, unpack, and inspect incoming inventory for accuracy and damage.
Organize products on shelves and in storage areas and follow inventory procedures to maintain stock levels.
Conduct regular stock counts and help resolve inventory discrepancies or overstock situations.
Ensure products are labeled, priced, and presented according to store standards.
Support store opening and setup.
Keep the store clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.
