About The Position
Kiokii And is hiring an Operations Lead for its new store at Westfarms Shopping Center in West Hartford, Connecticut. The role oversees the stockroom and retail operations to help ensure the store functions seamlessly. The Operations Lead organizes stockroom space and inventory, monitors replenishment and loss prevention, and performs stock counts and audits. The role also helps ensure staff follow company procedures and policies, supports promotions, pricing updates, and visual merchandising, and leads and trains the operations team. Additional duties include supporting store opening and setup and maintaining a safe, organized workplace in accordance with health and safety practices.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of retail operations experience.
- Passion for the Asian beauty industry and commitment to continuous learning and staying current on products and trends.
- Effective communication and interpersonal relationship-building skills.
- Strong leadership and store operations capabilities.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer complaints effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Knowledge of retail store operations, merchandising, and customer service standards.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee stockroom organization, inventory accuracy, and efficient storage practices to maximize space and improve operational flow.
- Monitor stock replenishment to maintain optimal inventory, prevent stockouts, and minimize shrink through proactive loss prevention.
- Perform regular stock counts and audits to ensure data accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Ensure store staff follow standard operating procedures and company policies.
- Support store promotions, pricing updates, and visual merchandising standards.
- Lead, train, and motivate the operations team to meet and exceed performance objectives.
- Support store opening and setup.
- Maintain a safe, organized work environment by following health and safety regulations and best practices.
