About The Position

The Full-Time Sales Associate assists the store management team with daily store operations, including providing excellent customer service, driving sales, merchandising, and completing other duties assigned by management. Work is expected to be professional, courteous, reliable, and results-oriented. The standard work week is a minimum of 35 hours and a maximum of 40 hours. The role requires open availability and flexibility to meet customer and business needs, including willingness to work in multiple stores in the assigned district.

Requirements

Previous retail or customer service work experience is preferred but not necessary.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Excellent command of English to communicate effectively with management, customers, and other employees.
Demonstrated leadership and ability to work with minimal supervision, including taking charge of the store when necessary.
Open availability and flexibility to meet customer demand and business needs.
Basic fashion and style trend knowledge and interest in working with customers in a retail setting.
Track record of building and working as part of a team, ability to handle responsibility, and understanding of the needs of the street lifestyle customer.
Willingness to work in multiple stores in the assigned district.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work extended hours during critical project phases and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Build customer relationships and provide professional, courteous, attentive, honest, and responsive service.
Identify customer needs and provide knowledgeable assistance in selecting suitable products.
Use basic fashion and trend knowledge to sell appropriate merchandise while maintaining company standards.
Assist with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward the job and company.
Comply with and enforce company policies.
Participate in service training and product programs.
Assist the Store Manager in monitoring and identifying loss or inconsistencies to help meet shrink goals.
Monitor and control operational compliance, safety, and business standards.
Support training employees in suggested selling and merchandising techniques.
Help minimize inventory shrinkage by protecting the store against shoplifting and internal theft, and follow loss prevention and security procedures.
Follow point-of-sale procedures, balance money collected during an assignment, and work with store management to investigate discrepancies.
Keep management informed of important developments, potential problems, and other information needed for effective management.
Help maintain a neat and orderly sales environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
