About The Position

The Sales Associate at Cosmoprof focuses on creating a memorable shopping experience and advising customers on hair color, cosmetics, skin care, and nails. Cosmoprof provides product knowledge and training; the associate brings a passion for beauty and a personable approach. The role includes building customer relationships, supporting sales and promotions, processing transactions, and maintaining a professional store environment. A range of working schedules and hours is available to suit different needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be available to meet the scheduling needs of the business.
• Able to communicate clearly and concisely with customers, co-workers, and management.
• Able to apply product knowledge training to support customer service.
• Able to read and explain product labels.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of retail sales or customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers and inspire loyalty.
• Recommend additional and complementary products.
• Inform customers about current promotions and events.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales and promotional events.
• Inform customers about the Loyalty program and enroll them in it.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional store environment and communicate inventory issues.
• Demonstrate Cosmoprof Culture Values.
• Use product knowledge training to support customer service.
• Follow directions and perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
