About The Position

J.Jill is seeking a part-time Sales Associate who is passionate about fashion, customer service, and building genuine connections. The associate helps customers find products, offers personalized service and styling advice, and contributes to sales goals while creating a welcoming shopping experience. The role also supports merchandise presentation, store operations, and a positive team environment.

Requirements

• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Passion for fashion, styling, and creating a welcoming customer experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiastic team player with a positive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Ability to perform the stated physical tasks, including standing, walking, reaching, bending, pushing/pulling, maneuvering around the store, handling merchandise, climbing ladders, operating registers and mobile devices, and lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds; joint/team lifting may be required.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful connections with customers through personalized service and styling advice.
• Assist customers in finding products and contribute to sales goals while ensuring a seamless, enjoyable shopping experience.
• Develop product knowledge to provide guidance and recommendations.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and execute floor sets.
• Participate in operational functions, including marketing, product processing and replenishment, markdowns and promotions, store cleanliness, and backroom organization.
• Work with team members to foster a positive and supportive environment.
• Address customer needs and concerns with a friendly, solution-oriented approach.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
