About The Position

J.Jill is seeking a passionate, customer-focused, results-driven part-time Sales Associate to create a welcoming and positive shopping experience. The role centers on building customer relationships, providing personalized service and styling advice, helping customers find products, and contributing to store sales goals. Associates develop knowledge of J.Jill merchandise and work with the store team to maintain visual standards and complete operational activities. The position also involves addressing customer needs and concerns and assisting with additional responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Ability to perform extensive standing, walking, reaching, bending, pushing and pulling, and maneuvering around the store.
• Ability to hang and fold merchandise and climb ladders.
• Ability to operate POS registers and other company mobile devices.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds and participate in joint or team lifting.

• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful customer connections through personalized service and styling advice.
• Help customers find products and provide a seamless, enjoyable shopping experience while contributing to sales goals.
• Develop a strong understanding of J.Jill merchandise to offer guidance and recommendations.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and execute floor sets.
• Participate in operational functions, including marketing, product processing and replenishment, markdowns and promotions, store cleanliness, and backroom organization.
• Work with team members to foster a positive and supportive work environment.
• Address customer needs and concerns with a friendly, solution-oriented approach.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support store success.
