About The Position

As a member of Nordstrom's Beauty Department, the Beauty Sales employee creates personalized beauty experiences for customers and contributes to a passionate team. The role focuses on understanding customer needs and maximizing sales across on-trend and luxury beauty brands. The employee conducts makeup applications and skincare analyses, recommends products aligned with customers' beauty goals, and builds customer relationships both in-store and digitally. They also support department readiness, beauty events, customer loyalty, and ongoing product knowledge.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses, and recommend products based on customers' beauty goals.
Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for customers.
Set and achieve in-store and digital sales goals using selling tools, including text and social media.
Book appointments and drive sales for in-store Beauty events and services.
Keep the department organized, clean, and customer-ready.
Stay current on beauty trends, products, and industry knowledge through training from Nordstrom and brand partners.
Manage sales, refunds, and exchanges, and build customer loyalty by opening Nordstrom Rewards accounts.
