About The Position

The Part Time Sales Associate works at the LEGO® store at Roosevelt Field in Garden City, New York. The role provides a signature experience for every guest through welcoming, friendly service, completing cash register functions, and supporting customer engagement and loyalty programs. It also helps maintain a clean, safe, and visually stimulating store, supports stockroom and merchandise operations, and resolves customer issues or escalates challenging situations to a manager. The position may also involve store operational tasks while on duty.

Responsibilities

• Greet every guest and provide a professional, gracious, friendly, and engaging experience.
• Perform all cash register functions.
• Perform daily cleaning duties and maintain a clean, safe, and visually stimulating environment.
• Maintain store displays and learn and execute LEGO® Brand Retail visual standards.
• Assist with receiving merchandise and safely and efficiently operate the stockroom.
• Maintain the stockroom to LEGO® Brand Retail standards.
• Follow safety regulations and notify management of potential shortage situations.
• Resolve customer issues and report challenging situations to a manager.
• Engage with customers and use promotional materials and loyalty programs.
• Typically handle store operational tasks while on duty.
