About The Position

The Sales Associate provides quality customer service and drives product sales. This role requires knowledge of the store’s product areas and departments, adherence to visual standards and company policies, and promotion of sales and offers. As an ambassador for the organization and brand, the Sales Associate helps create a distinctive customer experience and build long-term customer relationships. The position supports daily store operations and maintenance, promotes merchandise and services, and works to achieve or exceed sales goals. The role has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

0–2 years of customer service experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter with initiative to take on important tasks without being asked.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks accurately.
Team player passionate about customer service and selling merchandise.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service, including welcoming customers and assisting multiple customers during peak periods.
Promote and sell the organization’s services and merchandise.
Set goals to improve selling skills and track sales performance.
Follow company policies, procedures, and standards described in the operations, personnel, visual, and customer service manuals and company communications.
Assist with daily store operations, including work lists, cleanup lists, weekly shipments, and store maintenance.
Present merchandise effectively to promote and sell products, using guidance from the product knowledge manual.
Meet or exceed sales targets and goals.
Identify and communicate merchandise needs, pricing concerns, and operational problems to store management.
Attend store staff meetings and tech clinics.
Protect company assets and financial information by following internal control procedures and informing appropriate personnel of potential fraud risks.
