About The Position

The Sales Outfitter performs selling and customer service activities, including greeting and acknowledging customers promptly and in a friendly manner, handling merchandise with care, and providing customers with information, assistance, and direction. The role supports a pleasant and productive shopping experience through product demonstrations, merchandise replenishment, maintaining product knowledge, and helping customers make buying decisions. The position operates under general supervision and established procedures, with occasional independent judgment to complete assignments and make recommendations about work procedures, policies, and practices.

Requirements

High school education or equivalent experience.
Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change for customers.
Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with customers and other associates.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
Ability to operate a computerized Point of Sale register system.
Ability to stand and/or walk constantly during the shift.
Ability to occasionally ascend or descend ladders, stairs, ramps, or similar structures.
Ability to constantly communicate with others to exchange information.
Ability to occasionally perform repetitive motions involving the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
Ability to occasionally operate machinery and/or power tools and motor vehicles or heavy equipment.
Ability to move objects up to 20 pounds constantly and occasionally move and lift objects up to 100 pounds or more, using a team lift as needed.
Ability to occasionally work in tight and confined spaces and noisy environments.

Responsibilities

Support a strong commitment to world-class customer service and ensure a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.
Demonstrate products to customers.
Replenish products on shelves according to merchandising guidelines.
Maintain product expertise through ongoing product knowledge training.
Stay knowledgeable about advertised sales and maintain pricing and signage.
Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
Restock merchandise as required.
Keep the work area clean, neat, and well stocked with supplies.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Assist customers with buying decisions by identifying and evaluating their needs and making product recommendations.
Promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.
Perform other duties as assigned.
