About The Position

The Sales Outfitter supports a pleasant and productive shopping experience by greeting and assisting customers, handling merchandise with care, and providing information and direction. The role includes demonstrating products, maintaining product knowledge, replenishing and restocking merchandise, maintaining pricing and signage, and assisting with seasonal floor moves. The associate helps customers make buying decisions by evaluating their needs and recommending products, and promotes programs such as CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up. The role operates under general supervision and follows established procedures and company policies.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change for customers.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with customers and associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
• Ability to operate a computerized Point of Sale register system.
• Ability to stand and/or walk during the shift.
• Ability to move objects up to 20 pounds constantly and occasionally move or lift objects up to 100 pounds or more using a team lift as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge customers promptly and in a friendly manner.
• Provide information, assistance, and direction to customers.
• Demonstrate products to customers.
• Maintain product expertise through ongoing training.
• Replenish and restock merchandise in accordance with merchandising guidelines.
• Stay informed about advertised sales and maintain pricing and signage.
• Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, and stocked with supplies.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Evaluate customer needs and recommend products to support their buying decisions.
• Promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
