About The Position
As a Shoe Sales Associate at Von Maur, you represent the company and contribute to its reputation for customer service. You make a lasting impression on customers by building relationships and developing brand knowledge to meet their needs. The role includes sales, customer service, point-of-sale transactions, shoe fitting assistance, and maintaining the department and stock room.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers sincerely, be friendly, and thank every customer.
- Develop customer relationships to grow sales.
- Achieve individual sales and account goals.
- Share product knowledge and information about store services to improve the customer experience.
- Process point-of-sale transactions and enter key account information.
- Assist customers with shoe sizing, fitting, and trying on shoes.
- Maintain a visually appealing and clean department and shoe stock room.
- Be available to work day, evening, and weekend shifts.
