About The Position

As a Shoe Sales Associate at Von Maur, you represent the company and contribute to its reputation for customer service. In the shoes department, you build customer relationships and develop product knowledge to meet customers’ needs and create a positive shopping experience. The role includes helping customers with shoe sizing, fitting, and try-ons; processing sales transactions; and maintaining the department and stock room. Associates should be available for day, evening, and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers sincerely, be friendly, and thank every customer.
• Develop customer relationships to grow business.
• Achieve individual sales and account goals.
• Highlight product knowledge and store services to enhance the customer experience.
• Process POS transactions and enter key account information.
• Assist customers with shoe sizing, fitting, and trying on shoes.
• Maintain a visually appealing and clean department and shoe stock room.
