About The Position

As a Shoe Sales Associate at Von Maur, you represent the company and help shape customers’ shopping experiences in the shoe department. The role focuses on building customer relationships, developing product and brand knowledge, meeting customer needs, and achieving individual sales and account goals. You assist customers with shoe sizing, fitting, and trying on products; process point-of-sale transactions; and help maintain a clean, visually appealing department and shoe stock room. Availability for day, evening, and weekend shifts is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers sincerely, be friendly, and thank every customer.
• Develop customer relationships to grow sales.
• Achieve individual sales and account goals.
• Use product knowledge and knowledge of store services to support a strong customer experience.
• Ring point-of-sale transactions and enter key account information.
• Assist customers with shoe sizing, fitting, and trying on shoes.
• Maintain a visually appealing and clean department and shoe stock room.
• Be available to work day, evening, and weekend shifts.
