About The Position

As a Shoe Sales Associate at Von Maur, you represent the company and contribute to its reputation for customer service. In a fast-paced department, you help create a positive shopping experience by building customer relationships and using product knowledge to meet customer needs. You assist customers with shoe sizing, fitting, and trying on shoes; process sales transactions; and help keep the department and shoe stock room clean and visually appealing. The role requires availability for day, evening, and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers sincerely, be friendly, and thank every customer.
• Build customer relationships to grow sales.
• Achieve individual sales and account goals.
• Use product knowledge and explain store services to enhance the customer experience.
• Process POS transactions and enter key account information.
• Assist customers with shoe sizing, fitting, and trying on shoes.
• Maintain a visually appealing and clean department and shoe stock room.
• Be available to work day, evening, and weekend shifts.
