About The Position

The Sales Associate assists customers throughout the retail store and provides excellent customer service. Duties may include greeting customers, answering product-related questions, product assembly, general housekeeping, and other tasks assigned by the manager. The Sporting Goods/Firearms Specialist must have knowledge of firearms and firearms accessories and accurately complete all required FFL procedures for firearm sales. Completing these procedures may require the successful candidate to be at least 21 years old. Pay is based on experience, with a listed range of $14.00–$15.00.

May need to be at least 21 years old to complete required firearm-sale procedures.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and assist with customer service questions.
Price merchandise and make price changes as requested by store management.
Stock and face merchandise on shelves as requested by store management.
Assist with receiving freight and organize incoming products as directed by store management.
Assist with cycle counts.
Answer incoming telephone calls and handle them appropriately.
Handle customer transactions using the KCX cash register system.
Handle cash accurately.
Handle customer returns.
Answer product-related questions, assist with product assembly, and perform general housekeeping as needed.
