About The Position

Murdoch’s is hiring a part-time Retail Associate for its Firearms & Sporting Goods department. The role involves helping customers with product knowledge across firearms and ammunition, camping and hiking, hunting and fishing, and other merchandise. Team members display products to support an easy shopping experience and provide friendly, authentic customer service from customers’ arrival through their departure. Applicants must be at least 18 years old to sell firearms and must be legally able to own a firearm.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old to sell firearms.
Must be legally able to own a firearm.
Have a can-do attitude.
Know what motivates you to achieve your best productivity.
Be prepared to work on your feet and perform heavy and repetitive lifting.
Be able to stand for long periods.
Perform repetitive wrist movements on a keyboard.
Have close vision for some PC work.
Be able to bend, carry, push, and reach overhead.
Lift no more than 50 pounds.
Work as a team to uphold the company’s Mission, Values, and Principles.
