About The Position
As a Shoe Sales Associate, you represent Von Maur and contribute to its reputation as America’s Leading Department Store. In this active department, you help make a lasting impression on customers’ shopping experiences by building relationships and developing product knowledge to meet customer needs. You assist customers with shoe sizing, fitting, and trying on shoes, while working to achieve sales and account goals and keeping the department and shoe stock room clean and visually appealing. Responsibilities
- Greet customers sincerely, be friendly, and thank every customer.
- Develop customer relationships to grow business.
- Achieve individual sales and account goals.
- Use product knowledge and knowledge of store services to support a positive customer experience.
- Ring point-of-sale transactions and enter key account information.
- Assist customers with shoe sizing, fitting, and trying on shoes.
- Maintain a visually appealing and clean department and shoe stock room.
- Be available to work day, evening, and weekend shifts.
